The bill suggests amending several legislative acts of Ukraine. Particularly, the Civil and Family Codes, as well as the Code of Civil Procedure and the Laws "On Childhood Protection", "On Ensuring Organizational and Legal Conditions for Social Protection of Orphans and Children Deprived of Parental Care", "On Bodies and Services dealing with Children and Special Institutions for Children", "On Local Self Government", "On the Basis of Social Protection of Homeless and Abandoned Children" and "On Ratification of the European Convention on the Adoption of Children (revised)".
People?s deputies stressed that the bill aims at refining the existing judicial norms regulating issues connected with placing children with foster families, putting them on foster care or in family-type homes.
It is suggested to bring several provisions of the Civil Procedure Code dealing with adoption cases in compliance with the provisions of the Family Code.
Thus, the Committee members stress the necessity of bringing legislative acts in correspondence with each other.
